About Reward Zone

Best Buy Commercial (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has issued and reserved the rights for Reward Zone membership card. The membership card is the property of Best Buy Commercial (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. If necessary, Best Buy Commercial (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has the rights to modify the terms and conditions, which includes the privilege and services enjoyed by the member. The latest version is applied when using. Best Buy Commercial (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has the right to withdraw and terminate the privileges of the memberships if inappropriate behaviors occur when using the membership card. We will not entertain further enquiry of card renewing for such instances.

Membership

Reward Zone Membership program is available to Chinese residents (including permanent and temporary) at least 16 years of age. By joining the program, you represent that you are 16 years of age or older, and by using this program, you agree to the Rules of the program. 

Your Membership is valid only at Best Buy China retail stores. Activation begins upon the same date as Enrollment. The accumulated Points, Reward Certificates and gift voucher can only be used in Best Buy stores which are within the area of issuing store.

Your Membership is nontransferable and is subject to present and future Program Rules.

Membership Cards, Points and Reward Certificates can only be used by membership card holder and can not redeem cash, can not be transferred, sold or in any way traded.

Your Reward Zone Card can only be used at Best Buy stores and other promotional partners who may be part of the Program from time to time. Your Reward Zone Card cannot be used as a credit card or a guarantee card.

Lost or stolen Membership Cards will not be replaced.

As a Member of the Reward Zone program, you can earn 1 point for nearly every ¥1 you spend on qualifying purchases when you show your Membership Card at the time of purchase in store.

Point calculations are based upon dollars spent at checkout on qualifying purchases. Points will not be earned for some special discount products or bulk sales transaction. Please see product label description in the store.

Members can earn additional Points through special offers and promotions.

No adjustments to your Account will be made after the actual purchase date.

When products are returned to the store, Points will be deducted from your Reward Zone program Account for that return. Points apply only to the first Membership Card scanned in connection with any purchase.

Reward Certificates

For every 500 Points you earn in the Reward Zone program, you will be eligible to receive a Certificate redeemable for a ¥5 discount off your future purchase of any qualifying products or services at participating Best Buy retail stores.

Certificates will be issued approximately in last month every quarter after reaching the minimum issuance level. 500 Points are automatically deducted from your Account for every ¥5 in Certificate value issued to you. Rest of the points will be kept in the account to the next period. Certificate will be delivered to you by mail or email.

The minimum issuance level could be chosen among three levels as 1000, 3000 and 5000 points. Members could adjust it though member hotline later on.

Certificates are coupons for discounts off future purchases, and may only be redeemed for a discount off purchase amounts equal to or greater than the amount of the sum of the Certificates presented for redemption.

Certificates may be used in conjunction with most other discounts or offers toward the purchase of products, not to exceed purchase amount. Unless noted otherwise on the Certificate, each Certificate will expire if not redeemed within 1 year from the date it is issued.

Certificates cannot redeem cash and no change will be given for Certificate redemption. Certificates may be used only once. You may be notified of additional Non-Qualifying Items and services. Lost, stolen or expired Certificates will not be replaced.

Best Buy is not responsible for communications, including Certificates, lost due to change of address or changes in other contact information. Other restrictions or exclusions may apply.

Membership Cancellation, Modification, Expiration and Termination

You may cancel your Membership at any time by notifying Member Services. Cancellation may take from 6 to 8 weeks to finalize.

Best Buy may, at any time without prior notice, terminate or modify the Reward Zone program and program Rules without any further obligations to Members.

If you make no qualified purchases using your Reward Zone program Membership number during consecutive 2 calendar years, your Membership will automatically expire.

If your Membership is cancelled or expires, Certificates will be issued for accrued Points that remain in the Account. Reward Certificates will be issued for any ¥10 amount. Any Points that remain in your Account that are insufficient to qualify for a ¥10 Certificate will be forfeited. Partial Certificates will not be issued. 

Best Buy reserves the right to terminate your Membership at its sole discretion.
